Acrylic on Fiberglass Statue
39” H x 16 7/10” W x 38 1/5” L

This piece was a part of an art project from Boonton, New Jersey. Artists submit two designs to be potentially replicated on a dog statue and if they get sponsored they're given the statue to paint. After two months of working on the statue, it gets displayed around Boonton. It's left up there all summer until September in which it's then auctioned off. I have created a different piece for the past three years, and they have all sold for $1,500. Part of the money goes back to Boonton Arts and the rest is donated to either to the Seeing Eye or to 11th Hour Rescue. This particular piece was my latest one, it was inspired by the subtractive color palette and it took a more interactive view of color working amongst itself.
