Pablo Emilio Escobar Gaviria, known as "The King of Cocaine", is regarded as the wealthiest criminal in history, with an estimated known net-worth of $30 billion by the early 1990s and approximately $50 billion total including money that was buried in different areas of Colombia.

This resulted in the deaths of hundreds of individuals, including civilians, policemen and state officials.
