Eol - Hanheld Vacuum Cleaner

Multiple Owners
ā€¢
EOL.
Eol, a handheld vacuum cleaner developed from the need of creating a cleaning device for the kitchen, as existing ones were completely inharmonious to the context, transmitting the feeling of not belonging.
Eol is a device developed under the conception of a modern kitchen, following design lines from actual trends.
Our main goal was to create a cleaning tool that could be unnoticed in a kitchen real scenario but at the same time would give the confidence of having it. Unseen and useful.

Inspiration
Sketching - Concept exploration.
As the ideal scenario for Eol is set in a modern kitchen, a research of common 'must-have kitchen tools' was made. While exploring different ideas and devices, the attention was on a dustpan. The relation dustpan - cleaning might be obvious but clarifier and helpful.

Assembly workflow
Flow scheme
Orange represents the flux of air through the device, spinning around the filter and finally passing thru the motor until exiting the object (When closed); Light Blue represents the water being aspired and holded in the deposit.
***Yellow represents the hosepipe in charge of recycling the air from the flow when deployed, when closed the air is evacuated thru the grids in the back of the device.***
Mode of use
Eol uses the sucked air from the motor to aspire the dust while slides in a advancing movement to remove every particle of dust, crumbs and even liquids. The slide in the front sticks to the surface while the air and movement finish the job.
Working on cookie scrumbs.
...And spilled soda.
Ā
An extra function lays inside the handle of the Eol Vacuum cleaner. A flexible hosepipe can be deployed when facing large quantities of trash, or reaching difficult places. The hosepipe 'recycles' the flux of air coming inside by the means of aspiration an uses it to improve the recolection of junk.
Blown air resembles a broom, grouping all the trash before being aspired.
Thanks.
