Space exploration ☄ Anniversaries

Many anniversaries and events were celebrated by space lovers in 2015: the first commercial communications satellite was placed in geosynchronous orbit 60 years ago. The first Soviet and USA space walks were 50 years ago and this year NASA's probes reached their destinations. The New Horizons visited Pluto and Dawn examined the Vesta in 2011–2012, and now it is in orbit and exploring, the dwarf planet Ceres. To commemorate these events the Hungarian Post invited graphic designers to design a miniature sheet with four pairs of stamps, one pair for each event. This is my submission.
“ What struck me most was the silence. It was a great silence, unlike any I have encountered on Earth, so vast and deep that I began to hear my own body: my heart beating, my blood vessels pulsing, even the rustle of my muscles moving over each other seemed audible. There were more stars in the sky than I had expected. The sky was deep black, yet at the same time bright with sunlight.” — Alexei Leonov, cosmonaut, Life magazine, November 1988.
First day cover and stamp. The sheet is affixed onto the preprinted envelope, then the rocket is stamped onto the sheet.
