Engine mounting plates, made in 6063 Al. Part of the Drivetrain assembly of the F-14 Formula SAE prototype of the Universidad Central de Venezuela.
The supports of the Torsen T1 differential to the engine mounting plates. The system is used to adjust the chain's tension by rotating the eccentric plates. It provides a discrete fine resolution adjustment, every 1.5 degrees thanks to its inequal bolt pattern. The system was designed and FEA simulated using Solidworks Simulation Proffesional 2013.
