My work focuses on comparing city life from the eastern and western sides of the world. The images show 2 cities in the east and 2 cities in the west. Both pairs of locations separated by 1 hour; London and Oslo, Bangkok and Hong Kong. The 4 pieces are photo transfers onto wooden crates referencing the western invention of photography and the eastern technique of wood block printing in which a drawing would be transferred to the wood before being cut and printed. The pieces are accompanied  by 4 clocks showing the local time at each destination and are decorated to reflect the cities atmosphere with the influence of the colour schemes which follow through the flag of each country. A concept of constant movement has developed out of the pieces referencing the amount happening all over the planet at any one time, a mass hive of activity that never stops and never will do, keeping everything moving all the time.
