The Meaning of Home Contest, sponsored by Habitat for Humanity and Genworth Canada, asks Canadian grade four, five and six students to write about what “home” means to them. We as students of Visual and Creative Arts at Sheridan College were assigned to choose 3-4 of the contest poems from the past and design a small book with a front and end page. The written contents was provided by Genworth Canada and we were assigned to do the creative part in designing the book for kids to read.
