While a green tea flavoured Kit Kat is not exactly new in the world, or even in Malaysia, it's the first time that Malaysia launched a new innovation to its best selling Kit Kat variant, the Kit Kat fingers. To launch the first halal Malaysia-made Kit Kat Green Tea, the clients asked us to come out with new TVC with few points on the checklist:
It must be funny, exciting, product appeal, and japanese without being traditional japanese.
After few rounds of proposal, different ideas and messagings, we agreed to launch the Kit Kat Green Tea with a mascot, a robot.
Because what's better than a Japanese robot who is an expert in Green Tea? :D
