Caffe Demetre is a Canadian franchise cafe that features made-on-order desserts,
Caffe Demetre is a Canadian franchise cafe that features made-on-order desserts,
in-house crafted ice creams, and high-quality ingredients inspired in authentic dishes
that are never pre-made or packaged-frozen.
As part of their fall/winter seasonal menu, I was invited to develop
the new menu cover and bill holders. The project features a wide selection of
Caffe Demetre’s favourites, reconstructed in custom-designed, hand-made paper crafts.
Utilizing bold colour blocks and simplified geometric forms, the menu cover
is photographed from a top-down view mimicking a dessert feast table set-up.
The birdseye view places the viewer in a first-person perspective
that responds to the context of sitting down, ordering and dining at the table.
