Also knowned as 'Maiden-voiced', Parthenope, one of the Sirens in the greek mythology
 was the daughter of the God Achelous and the Muse Terpsichore. 
 
In biology, the Anax parthenope dragonfly, or the Lesser Emperor, is a member of the Family Aeshnidae, where the largest dragonflies of North America and Europe can be found 
and among them the largest dragonflies on the planet.
This family also represents the fastest flying dragonflies of the Order Odonata.
