So after my first series of skull illustrations that you can check out by clicking here I thought to spice it up and make a dark series of skulls too to see how it translates in a darker variation without making it to scary or horror.

Like the first ones they are inspired by architecture that caught me in Barcelona, altho that might seem very random, but trust me that was the main inspiration I had while working on these colourful beasts.

 

The base was set up using Adobe Illustrator and all the postwork and highlights were done in Adobe Photoshop.
