This project was meant for an installation of five Charnequeira Goats of different colours on the Eunique precinct. It explores the symbolism of an iconic animal in the Schist Villages region, conjuring up memories and taking onlookers back there. This native breed of goat is a quite burly animal, with a reddish brown coat and sloping horns. It has been a companion of the local people since ancient times and it is still today a strong economic factor, for instance, with regard to the production of milk and cheese. It is, therefore, the iconic element of Portuguese (agri)culture.

The project was exposed at Eunique 2015 - International Fair for Applied Arts and Design, in Karlsruhe, Germany.
