A video about Making@Polimi, a MakeFactory Interest Group initiative
funded by the Design Department of the Politecnico di Milano
During the event Making@Polimi, the one week workshop included into the FARB project, organized by Make Factory at the Design Department of the Politecnico Milano, we were asked to take the whole working site and the students involved, in order to create a final video for a brief film.
The idea, which gave start to the workshop, was that to create a "makerspace" in which the design, the new digital production and the self-production could meet.
All the meetings were filmed together with all the production phases of the six projects of student teams who were participating to the workshop, afterwards the interviews to the professors who organized the event and to the participating team members were done. The questions made to the organizers were related above all to the event topic, the spirit of the "makerspace" and the result obtained from the interaction, the self-production and cooperation of the students involved.

The video gives a lot of visibility to the involved students, especially during the interviews in which they explain in a little words their works. Afterwards the video was reduced to a shorter version, in order to obtain a teaser of less than three minutes but thorough enough to show the main topics of Making@Polimi.
