Digital India is an initiative of Government of India to integrate the government departments and the people of India. It aims at ensuring that the government services are made available to citizens electronically by reducing paperwork. The initiative also includes plan to connect rural areas with high-speed internet networks. Digital India has three core components.
These include:
-The creation of digital infrastructure
-Delivering services digitally
-Digital literacy
On May2015 Government of India announced through Mygov, a compitition on Designing Logo and Creating Tagline for Digital India

Digital India is a Programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.

Here I share my works on that, hope you enjoy...
In the end of June National E- Governance Department finalised the logo and they also helped a lot to give the final touch of the logo. For me it was very pleasant and valuable experience to work with the NEGD team. Before launching the Digital India week NEGD promoted this programme very aggressively through advertisements, which were seen almost on every street of New Delhi.
On morning of 1st july,2015 I was awarded by our Honourable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, at the Prime Minister House for winning the competition of Designing Digital India Logo on a ceremony arranged by Mygov. There also Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad was present. That was such a glory moments for me.
On that Evening PM Narendra Modi inaugurate the Digital India Programme at Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi. The whole corporate world of India was present on that ceremony and the whole India guided to see a new dream about future era of India by this programme.
The Logo unveiling vedio was released on that ceremony.
