Webdesign: ABN-AMRO

For an school assignment I had to create a webpage promoting the app of a dutch bank called ABN-AMRO. The purpose of the assignment was to analyse the style of ABN-AMRO and use the style in your own design. I analysed it by doing deskresearch. I went to their webpage and I looked how they used typography, colors, buttons etc. I also looked at other products they produced like booklets, their cards etc.

After that I analysed the app, and wrote down the most importent features of the app. With this information I made the first lo-fi wireframes.
The wireframes

I choose one of the wireframes and I used photoshop to apply the style of ABN AMROs website on the wireframes. I tried to make the design exactly like the ABN AMRO website. The horizontal phone, call to action and the menubar were supposed to be on your screen without scrolling, and the detailed desciption of the app was supposed to be below in the screen so the user had to scroll to view that information. I did this so the user doesnt get an overload on information when he first opens the page.
I learned a lot about desk research, styleguides and wireframes by doing this assigment. It was fun!
