BORDER BUS portrays a journey of a bus that drives at the border of land and water, and the border of reality and dream.

However, in the end of the journey, can we still recognize which living creature or character lives in the water or on the land? Which belongs to reality or dream? In the animation, roots of plants grow in water in stead of soil. People and bird breathe beneath the land. In our daily lives, dreams sometime are more convincing than reality. As the Border Bus blurs all distinctions, do the so-called border really exist?

Border Bus was made by using watercolor, colored pencil and Adobe Flash. By using hand-painted elements with basic animation techniques - tween animation and stop-motion animation techniques, the animation proceeds with slow rhythm in a poetic, tranquil atmosphere.
