Casia, designed for appliance company Haceb, is a shower which offers a new experience to taking a shower based on the concept “Get lost to find”, which is seen in the moment when the user enters the shower and is able to deeply enjoy the experience without getting alienated from others not from himself.
In contact with water, the shower changes colors, offering a varying and constant experience which is at the same time different in every single occasion, therefore it allows you to enjoy a pleasuring bath that comes alive while you’re taking it, in other words it transforms itself into a world where everybody could be an artist.
It has been designed for families or people who like to interact with color and have an artistic and cognitive affinity; the user can be a member of the family - who will be able to communicate with other member if wanted- as well as people that like trying out new experiences.
The colors are going to be the main attraction of the project, because throughout an electrochromic material and tint printing the experience desired is going to be created.
Hydrochromic material:
The first layer of the experiential system is a sheet of hydrochromic material that changes from white to transparent in contact with water.

Electrochromic material:
The second layer is a material that changes color through electric shocks, from transparent to white when the shower is turned on.

Printed layer:
It will be the background color which is going to be used to print different types of colors, textures and images, etc.
