Pupa is a portable container, based on the curiosity generated by the inside of it and the way that the imagination responds to the unknown features. The formal and functional inspiration is the fusion between Lepidoptera pupae and eggs.
The main feature of Pupa is hiding what is stored inside, therefore it changes color with temperature and the pressure applied onto it by an external force, this is possible thanks to the liquid crystals that are between two walls of white translucent alumina that gives it an opal tone, also it has a black mesh that covers the body, made out of thermoplastic polymer.
Pupa does not have a flat base, because people could leave it anywhere, for that reason it is curved, meaning it cannot stand by itself, and requires that the user takes it all the time with him or herself, taking care of it as if it was a real egg, providing it protection just like a chrysalis.
