Another statistic indicates that bathing water is the most wasting in municipal water, especially public bathing. We notice that the method to charge which causes people don’t treasure public water. Most public bath is one-time fee, e.g. swimming、hotel、school dormitory…, then user can use water whatever they want. So how can we solve this problem and make the best of reused water source?
When people take shower in public bath, two problems were pointed out. First, a lot of clean water pass through body that is the main reason of wasting water. The other is bath space always fill with steam and its ground cover by puddle that may result in slipping. Our solution, Catchwall is designed into two different hexagonal tile which collects water from bath space, then clean public toilet using collected water. There are two ways to collect clean water, one is guiding water passing through body, and the other is dehumidifying steam from moist bath space. On the whole, Catchwall provides better public water saving system and make public bath better than ever.
In the last few years, many people use some simple methods to saving, but problems are about the awareness of saving and not everyone do this. According to research public bath and toilet cleaning waste much water. We notice that the method to charge which causes people don’t treasure public water. To hope this concept can bring benefit of saving and raise awareness of saving.

Considering saving benefit and way of people using water, we should cooperate with space design and the construction company at growth stage. To build Catchment Wall into public bath and washroom will bring more benefit to save water and raise awareness of saving. At maturity stage we’ll change tile of Catchment Wall into product which can assemble by people in their house. At decline stage, we plan to improve Catchment Wall better than ever.
