The Civic Center/ Capitol Hill area is one of my favorite spots in Denver because of its rich history and culture. It is a classic example of the City Beautiful era and it exemplifies late American Beaux-Arts design, showcasing the work of several famous architects, planners and landscape architects. In contrast to the classical architecture, there are also several modern buildings. The juxtaposition of architectural styles creates an interesting experience for visitors.
For these reasons, I chose to design a map which directs users through the area. The final map is foldable for maximum accessibility and usability. The back features information about the history of each building and a list of three of my favorite cafés/restaurants in the area.
