MATERIAL + FORM + CIRCLE OF INTERESTS
TODO is ceramic studio.The appearance, colour, form and size of the ceramics change nearly every season. The only thing that never exists here are regular forms and tidiness; so it was crucial to create a visual concept for the whole studio, not just for one single series.
I offered a graphic scheme which was appropriate for any kind of visual characteristics, in order to make it relevant to present and future series. It was that kind of the scheme in which the elements and the font are chosen regardless of time and traditions. Trends are correlated with something timeless, the production line with unicity and pathos with naivity. It formed an uneven circle which resembles both a moulded lump of clay and the sight on the handmade ceramics from above. From that point the forms of the graphic element were drawn.
The choice of the colours is based on three shades of the material: white clay, green/blue clay and chamotte.
