For this project we had to find a concept for a movie poster and produce it with the linocut technique. 

The film-maker and the film were given by our teacher. I got Laurence Anyways by Xavier Dolan.

 

Story in short: Laurence is a 30-year-old men, who lives with his girlfriend whom he is deeply in love.

But one day he reveals his biggest secret, he is actually a woman born in a man's body.

He can not bear it any longer and wants to restart his life as a woman. 

 

This is why, for the concept of the poster, I represented a woman in the head of the character

to express the fact that he thinks like a woman trapped in a man's body.
