As industrial design student (Junior year) , this is a collaborative project between SoA+D, KMUTT in Bangkok, Thailand with Meyer Industry, which the Meyer has assign us to create a cookware product, can be anything such as tableware, pots and pan and/or peelers for example. For myself, I choose to do cookware products, Let me introduce you to my design..

The product originally came from an ideas and trends that is up and coming, by 2014 and even stronger by 2015 which is

 

 

And you might wondering who's it for, where should I use it, and how can I use this ? 

- Let me tell you -

 

Because of as myself is currently living in Bangkok, Thailand, with variety of food choices from all over both inside and outside the country, but to design something for all people from the globe maybe a bit too soon for junior like me, so as a MEYER brand was interested in ASIAN cultures and aimming for Asian community, which is really perfect for Thailand context where many people from many culture come join together, so I study how those context can be use together and create what effects.

As you can see in the picture above, I decide to go for home use where the family cooks together, and enjoy their precious time together, and in oval I choose the 'asian kitchen cookware' that is use in our household 'steaming and hot pot'

 

And because nowadays people are in a rush, they have limited time during the day, when they get off wheather from school or from work, they wanted a nice, quick, and warm meal so wouldn't it be great if they can cook and serve in only one object!
