After more than 10 years in business, this established Kansas City restaurant was ready to expand in a new, larger location. Which presented a prime opportunity for a brand evolution. We kept the inherently fun personality of "Lulu" herself in the new identity, which also reflects the establishment's modern Asian appeal.

The overall color palette took its inspiration from vibrant Thai food ingredients. Icons and patterns from the new design arsenal came into play inside the restaurant on booths, partitions and even custom-made lamps. Outside, commanding illuminated signage beckons from all directions. We also treated a large wall facing the busy main thoroughfare as the billboard it is with large directional graphics and related copy.
