Having worked with Jakdesign for many years, I came to look forward most to designing the annual holiday gift which would play upon the name of the studio — Jak — in a clever and whimsical way. Every year, clients would enthusiastically await its arrival to see if last year’s gift could be topped.
Lumber Jak
A handy notebook with 4 illustrated dividers, each highlighting a seasonal project encouraged clients and other recipients of the holiday gift to brain storm and create. With a natural "stick" pencil and flannel wrap, the lumber jak theme was complete. The message read:
Lumber Jak brings you four projects to build,
A way for the seasons to all be fun-filled.
To keep your wits as sharp as an axe,
An idea for each season — In each section, a task.
This pencil and notebook with which you will plan,
Guarantees that your projects will all turn out grand.
So, all the best wishes from Jakdesign,
May your whole year be filled with fun
and good times!
