2008 & 2009
Conceived, designed and performed this pre-smart phone tracking game. South West Media Innovation award winner in mobile telecoms category 2009.
The game was run twice, once in 2008 when I performed the role of Moose, and in 2009, where there were three Moose, performed by Stefan and Andres Berez, and Vera van de Nieuwenhof. Each time the game was commssioned as part of igfest.

The performers lived as Moose for three days and nights, sleeping out in the open as they made their way from their summer range to their over-wintering area in Bristol. The Moose were tagged with tracking devices and players could request their location via short code, which returned a static Google map viewable in virtually any mobile phone (remember this was pre-iPhone).

The objective as to track Moose using the tracking service and photograph them. Prizes were awarded in various categories: first sighting, observation of unusual behaviour, first urban sighting etc.
