Challenge:
Creating poster design showing power and beauty of four classical elements: air, fire, wind and earth. Greek perception of these elements was dated from pre-Socratic times and persisted through the Middle Ages and into the Renaissance.
Vision:
At the beginning it was necessary to visualize all four elements. Earth was expressed as mountain spirit, fire as desert, water as sea and air as clouds in the sky. Main part of the work was modelling, lightning and rendering scenes in high resolution with emphasis on every detail, followed by post-processing to create overall vintage look of the poster and highlighting important components of image.
