Handlettering chalkboards
 
Background
I was walking through Weesp and discovered that almost every shop had a chalkboard in front of their shop, they all had something in common. You couldn't read the text and they missed a finishing touch. So I began to work on my handlettering skills and contacted some shop owners to create a unique handlettered chalkboard for their shop.
 
Coffeshop Karakter 
Coffeeshop Karakter was the first customer who mailed me back and after a nice cup of coffee I began to handletter their chalkboard. Now when I walk through Weesp, I see one striking chalkboard that you can read from a big distance.
I hope a lot of shops will follow Coffeeshop Karakter to add more value to a chalkboard.
