An ironic and whimsical visual journey through Bengaluru, '4th Cross, 11th Main' confounds our sense of the real, with the surreal forms of our navigational culture. Told through the eyes of a curious outsider, this story is an account of the directional street signs typical of Bengaluru and how they become a part of a hidden cultural experience. The book is a mix of illustration, typography and photography. We come across neither a fixed meaning, nor an interpretation of visual signs, but rather a whispering of continuous possibilities that surround them.
