PRXS aka Lorenzo Macinanti started this
new project in 2006, moving from the
post-industrial heritage of the likes of
Pan Sonic, Coil, Amir Baghiri, into a new
direction strong of multidirectional influences
grounded in techno, dubstep and post-rock
music.
His first album, “All The World Is
Somnambulizing”, was released in 2006 for
the underground experimental label Cold
Current Prod (MB/Maurizio Bianchi,
Selaxon Lutberg, Gianluca Becuzzi & Fabio
Orsi) and clearly showed his roots in IDM,
glitch and ambient music, blending Peter
Christopherson’s gloomy atmospheres with
Autechre’s loop disgregation.
