a-lone is my diploma project that has been aimed to communicate the importance of a balance of all personality types in a social environment. Introverts are often looked down upon and are encouraged to be vocal and match up to the exrovert ideal. My question is, why?
What I have intended to do through this design is to communicate to people, that it is alright to want to be alone and that solitude can be a choice. Introverts need to be comfortable with who they are, and the way to do so is by reflecting the acceptance of introverts in a space, by permitting an individualistic scenario in the design.

Though this design has been made school spaces like libraries and home rooms in mind, they could fit in many other public spaces as well.
