Save the Children -Live Brief

Save the Children
Inspire and motivate dads to read to their children.

The Creative Challenge
Your brief is to deliver a creative resource that will inspire and motivate our target audience of dads to read to their children for just 10 minutes every day.
The creative can take any form (for example print or online advertising, a video, infographic, an experiential movement etc), but it must leave audiences with an understanding of just how much of a difference 10 minutes a day reading with a child can make.

My Outcomes
With this creative challenge, I produces a variety of outcomes. I wanted to show the brand a variety of options they could use to inpsire Dads to read to their children.

To kick off the campaign I produced a series of posters based on popular children characteres. Along aside this I produced a quote to go with them. (Even Superman had to read, you don't have to be a superhero to achieve) I wanted children to know everyone reads even the coolest superheros do it!

I created an app for parents, to get them and their children motivated to read! Special features on the app include;
. A timer to go off daily reminding them it's reading time,
. Book log, to keep track on what books they've read
. Photo gallery, to take photos of their special reading times
. Did you know facts, to allow parents to know what they are achieving
. Themes, children can select what themes they want the app to be based on. (Harry Potter, Cinderella, R2D2, etc.)

I produced a reading starter pack to be given out in schools, to get kids excited about reading. Again the children had a choice of themes they wish to choose from. Inside the pack included:

. Top tips for reading
. Buisness card with the brand on
. Poster
. A card about the app

Hope you like it!
