Arte e Comunidade is a colaborative book, published by Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian.

As the nature of its contents (the work in progress relationship between art and local communities), all the texts in this book were written by different authors and designed by different designers accross the world.

The idea was to give each author a custom made design for their text colaboration. Several designers were invited to design a chapter of the book, and to give a special meaning to its contents. This way, each chapter has its own author, designer and even its own kind of paper.

All the contents are in black & white.

I started this project as a designer at white studio, and ended up being invited to design one more chapter after I left the studio. Bellow you can see the chapters i've designed.
