In the world of fantasy and terror films, few events are as relevant and comprehensive as the Sitges Film Festival.
In 2013 I did a website proposal to replace the aging original site.
This post is a rather inclusive overview of the whole authoring process, from visual idea to the final working product.
Several style tiles were designed until a color, type and space harmony was found.
Once the general style was found, a grid is created to hold the general layout of the pages, followed by the design of the individual elements.
After designing everything separatedly, some wireframes are done to screen test the layout and the interaction between different elements. Wireframes come in all sorts of levels of detail depending on the project. This one would be on the very detailed, close to the final look end.
