Speaking about Make Design Matter

I'm writing a book called Make Design Matter. As part of the process I'm doing presentations and workshops around the world about the importance of not only make design better, but make design matter.

The theme for the presentations (based on the book).

The changing society requires radical solutions based on new transformative strategiesin all development processes. As a reaction to this I created MAKE DESIGN MATTER; a strategic guideline for design based on a transdisciplinary and holistic thinking with a humane and inclusive approach.The guideline facilitates a convergence across different fields to inspire designers, corporations and alike developing more meaningful design solutions, as well to improve human well-being at a larger scale.MAKE DESIGN MATTER can be experienced as a lecture, master class and workshop.Shortly this strategic guideline will turn into a book.

Where do I talk?

Over the past years I have presented in different countries like USA, Great Britain, France, Japan, Sweden, Iceland, Chile, Holland, Slovenia, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Mexico and Taiwan to mention a few. The audiences include everything from institutions, organisations, cities and governments to corporations like Audi, IKEA, Lego, Volvo, Nokia, E.ON, Scania, Thule, Absolut, Sony Ericsson, Carlsberg, 3M, Campari, Oriflame, Nissan and Samsung among others. All presentations and master classes can be combined with creative ideation workshops.
