This project demonstrates the repurposing of aircraft parts to create bespoke furniture, by combining aviation heritage with new machine cut aluminium components. The repurposed fan is the third stage Low Pressure compressor from a Rolls Royce Pegasus jet engine, which was removed from a Sea Harrier FA2.

 

The table is currently on display at the Advanced Manufacturing Park Technology Centre (AMPTC) where it will remain for the rest of the summer.
