This double exposure series focuses on my experience and favorite places in Cape Town, South Africa. Often, when I look over my photos from South Africa I recall my thoughts and emotions of my time in the city. Consequently, after gaining these memories and capturing significant moments I would like to share them with others. Also, I would like to express my emotions behind each photo to viewers. As a result of capturing these moments, these areas in Cape Town have become apart of who I am. Since each photo evokes a certain emotion, I’ve been working on a few techniques to cause certain photos to spur multiple emotions. From my research, I decided to create the following double exposure series. Personally, this technique allows me to express myself through more than one photograph and give the viewer a different perspective regarding my trip.
