Exploring Terrariums || #1 Cacti

Creating tiny worlds, environments and ecosystems is something I love doing. The whole process of creating small, seemingly foreign worlds that can be held in the palm of your hand is actually quite calming. And for as long as the terrarium thrives, you can easily get lost in the surreal beauty of the landscape that stands out so vividly against your indoor space. Even after the plants in a terrarium have lived their full life, there is still beauty to be found in decay.
Cacti and Succulents are relatively easier to maintain as compared to other plants. They're basic requirements are optimum sunlight, fresh air and less moisture. Watering terrariums is quite tricky as you cannot waterlogg the entire system nor can you let it dry out completely. Keeping this issue in mind, maintenance for these terrariums is very minimal as Cacti do not require continuous moisture in the air to grow and can make do with a limited daily supply.
I appreciate a good challenge when it comes to size, shape and elements. If you would like to see something specific, or have some pointers, or own one of these terrariums, you can contact me at abidan63@gmail.com.
