The idea was to tell people that, no matter how we wish or extend for raya greetings, the act of 'ziarah' (visiting) among friends and relatives are the core of 'silaturrahim' (relationship). Handshakes are the mechanics or acts of what people do between them to symbolize happiness, friendship, relationship, remembrance, closeness, and most importantly, love. And no matter what kind of handshake styles, the 'niat' or meaning is still the same.

 

The look and style are inspired by POP POP firecrackers which were very famous among Malaysians.
