The Cheney Depot is an 85-year-old Spanish Mission style railroad depot, a style of architecture that is quite unusual in the Northwest. This unique depot ties together the history of the Cheney community, Eastern Washington University, and the railroad. The Save Our Station campaign is making efforts to save, relocate, and repurpose the train depot.

 

The logo for the campaign is based on the architecture of the depot building, incorportating the important Spanish Mission features, and the iconic red color associated with Cheney, Washington and Eastern Washington University. 

The campaign ad incorporates the Union Pacific railroad map, which cuts through Cheney, Washington and has direct ties to the train depot. Cheney is seen in the middle of the R letterform on the ad.
