The below illustrations shows a Proposed Affordable Temporary Housing for single mothers who are either newly divorced, widowed or separated from the husband. This public community building shall support the single mothers in settling down with her children into an environment that is encouraging and empathic on their condition.
The concept of this project derives from the psychological response to show humility to others. In addition, the concept of being responsive to the natural environment was exhibited thru the color scheme, the green wall element, and the provision of a green roof that shall provide an area for gathering between the users. The sunken and elevated areas provided also represent that of the levels of a single mothers, which is higher than the community.
