Three concepts were been united in one symbol that represent a building, a crown and human figure (letter "i" as well) in order to represent the quality made in Italy.
All this starting from Leonardo' Vitruvian man as symbol of genius of made in Italy, so the hexagonal shape also represent industry of a beehive.
