INTERPRETIVE PLANNING, AND INTERACTION DESIGN

Client name
Army Museum Halifax Citadel

Brief / Summary of Work
Form:Media was commissioned by the Halifax Citadel Army Museum to design, build and install a series of interpretive displays commemorating the service and sacrifice of Canadians and, in particular, Nova Scotians during the First World War.

Form:Media was honoured to be part of this project, the timing of which held deep national significance, coming one hundred years after the beginning of “the war to end all wars”.

Our creative team first created an interpretive plan before designing interpretive displays, which highlighted the stories of Canadian and Nova Scotian soldiers who served with distinction in the First World War. The Form:Media team also built a powerful interactive display, which allows visitors to follow the path of Canadians as they fought in major battles of the war, including Vimy, the Somme and Paschendale.
