Future Minds Rebranding

Local and Foreign Universities showcase themselves at the Future Minds exhibition and students from around the country gather to make decisions about their future careers. Through a survey, it was found that students who have attended Future Minds in the past found their experience boring, stiff (not interactive enough), and that often, university representatives bombard individuals with information, trying to sell the university instead of understanding the individual needs of the student. Thus, the rebranding of Future Minds attempted to bring the needs of the students to the forefront.
The new logo for Future Minds 2015 is derived by simplifying scaffolding stairs, and is meant to capture the idea of being supported in the progressive pursuit of one's dream. Scaffolding is used in construction, just like achieving one's dream is a work in progress. Nevertheless, the scaffolding provides invaluable support in reaching the final outcome. The brand promise of Future Minds is "Taking you where you want to go" and provides the support in giving form to students' dreams.
Below is the programmed designed for the exhibition. The programme was designed as a metaphor of a journey.
The front cover has been cut short to reveal a tab that invites the student to reflect and define their future goals before they enter into the exhibition.
Below is a Poster Series to stimulate students to think about what intellectual community they'd like to be a part of, and a curiosity to learn about career options, simultaneously promoting Future Minds as the starting point in their quest for answers.
