The Raven - Typeface
The Raven is a typeface I made during the Type Design Start Course by Luc(as) de Groot at Fachhochschule Potsdam.
We have been asked to create all lowercase letters, numbers and some glyphs. The name comes from Poe's most famous poem and this is why it has gothic strong shapes. After sketching and vectorizing all glyphs, each corner has been rounded with Fontlab to give the typeface a smoother look.
