Description
Welcome.us is a non-profit dedicated to celebrating a United States that is fueled by an immigrant tradition. In June 2015, the organization kicked off the first ever Immigrant Heritage Month, a nationwide effort to gather and share inspirational stories of immigration in America.
June is Immigrant Heritage Month (IHM). Throughout the month, we’ll be celebrating both our diversity and our shared American heritage by telling the stories of individuals that, together, comprise a uniquely American narrative.
Scope
My role as the Lead Graphic Designer, representing verynice, we partnered with Welcome.us, FWD.us, and their outside media and PR teams to honor and publicize IHM 2015. Our studio led the efforts on brand strategy, user experience design and digital development.

Key Challenge
The IHM project was operated under extremely tight timeline. A normal 3 months procedure of identity design, website design and development was shrank down to 1 month. IHM's identity design and website design's timeline overleap with one another.
Our team worked bi-coastal and collaboratively with Forward.us’ creative team in order to maximize time efficiency and communication transparency.
Sample of process work is shown as following:
Final Solution
IHM’s new brand celebrates this diversity and multi-heritage through the use of colorful mosaic typography which as a dual function for secondary visual elements as a decorative pattern and as a confetti.
