In the city of Matera (South Italy), the best typical food producers of Basilicata region were selected for a three-day event called "MAT - Mercato Agricolo della Terra" (a street market for farmers and food producers). The people of Matera and tourists from around the world, had the opportunity to taste good bio food, made with ancient methods.
The identity of the MAT has been designed according to a visual language typical of the Basilicata rural tradition.
Strong colors, simple and irregular forms, are the main characteristics of the rural art in Southern Italy.
We developed also a series of video-interviews asking to the food producers what does it means to produce healthy food with ancient methods and wich are the advantages in terms of health.
