As part of our ongoing relationship with Virgin Atlantic we were asked to create a series of animated digital art pieces to feature in the Upper Class bar area of their new fleet of Boeing 787 aircraft.

 

Each animation relates to a particular part of the customer's in-flight experience, such as the fluid light ripples seen during the sleeping phase of the flight. They take form and inspiration from the fleet's design, with Territory's animators working closely with Virgin Atlantic's lighting specialists to balance the adjustable lighting found on board with the CGI light settings within the films. Careful attention went into ensuring the movements were presented to passengers in a gentle and positive way, through light, textured form and movement.
