This is an Anti-Smoking Campaign poster based on the assignment by my campus. The poster is showing a man smoking a cigarette.I juxtapose the waves from the heart monitor to the cigarette to show that the more you smoke, the close you are to death. The tagline reads “Smoking will cancer you out”. I played with word “cancer” as it is similar sounding to the word “cancel”. The word “cancer” is emphasis by using the colour red and being larger in scale. The grainy texture in the poster is to show the nitty-gritty nature of smoking. 

The bodycopy reads “About 10,000 people in Malaysia lose their lives due to tobacco smoking each year. 25% of deaths rate due to cardiovascular diseases, strokes and cancers associated with cigarette smoking. You can stop this, quit smoking.”
