This book contains over 60 coded representations of American Hip-Hop songs, as well as a user-guide for deciphering the iconography. The project functions as a verbalised musical instrument: as the reader orally recites the iconography, they will create their own ‘a cappella’ rap, based on the underlying message of each track.
